The diversity of Pseudomonas species isolated from fish farms in Turkey

The prevalence of Pseudomonas species in freshwater fish and water from aquaculture farms Turkey was determined on a monthly basis, the period covering 2013–2017 two seasons 2018. included study were located six different regions Turkey. A total 90 strains isolated diseased healthy fish, classified under 20 species. phenotypic characterization based oxidase catalase activities, haemolysis, tolerance to temperature sodium chloride, production fluorescent pigments antibiotic resistance spectra. phylogenetic identification isolates performed by 4-gene multilocus sequence analysis, partial sequencing 16S rRNA, gyrB, rpoB rpoD genes. This is first report isolation several species, namely, P. brenneri, defensor, haemolytica, lactis, lundensis, lurida, mandelii, meridiana, migulae, proteolytica, simiae, weihenstephanensis, salmonid fish. Two these haemolytica lactis have been for time farms, an environment quite their original source, raw milk. Furthermore, seven putative new farmed rainbow trout. During 2013 2018 period, detected spread Aegean Central Anatolia Eastern Black Sea regions.
